SCHEME FOR FINANCING FOOD AND AGRO PROCESSING ACTIVITIES

1.	ELIGIBILITY	Individuals/ SHGs/ JLGs/ Proprietorship Firms/ Partnership/ Ltd Liability Partnership/ Pvt. Ltd. Co./ Public Ltd. Co./ Trust and Co-operative Societies registered under any law relating to co-operative societies/ Farmer Producer Organizations and other legal entities etc.
2.	PURPOSE	To provide financial assistance for creation of processing and preservation capacities i.e. new projects and modernization/ expansion of existing food and agro processing units. To provide credit support for small food processing units including halwais, bakery, small milk processing units, cane crushing units etc.
3.	EXTENT OF LIMIT	Need based credit facility
4.	MARGIN	Ranging from 0 to 30%
5.	SECURITY	Primary – Hypothecation of asset created out of Bank loan. Collateral – As per Bank’s extant guidelines. CGTMSE facility available as per Bank’s extant guidelines.
6.	RATE OF INTEREST*	Starting from 8.95%
