AMI SCHEME – Punjab Gramin Bank

1.	ELIGIBILITY	Individuals, farmers, FPOs, cooperatives, state agencies, and other eligible entities can benefit from the scheme. The scheme covers a wide range of projects, including storage infrastructure, Rural Haats/RPMs as Grameen Agricultural Markets (GrAMs), common facilitation centers for FPOs, marketing infrastructure in market yards, and stand-alone cold storages.
2.	PURPOSE	To promote agricultural marketing infrastructure development, especially in rural areas, and to facilitate scientific storage to prevent distress sales and increase farmer income.
3.	EXTENT OF LIMIT	Need based credit.
4.	MARGIN	Upto Rs.2 lakh – Nil Above Rs.2 lakh – As per Bank’s extant guidelines
5.	SECURITY	Primary – Hypothecation of asset created out of Bank loan. Collateral – As per Bank’s extant guidelines.
6.	RATE OF INTEREST*	Starting from 11.00%
7.	SUBSIDY	A backend subsidy is available to beneficiaries, with rates varying based on the location and the nature of the project.
